Amherst, NY — Senator Hillary Clinton today announced her endorsement of Alice Kryzan for Congress in New York's 26th district.
"Alice Kryzan has a proven track record of working on the issues that I have long championed – cultivating our communities, providing quality education and healthcare for all, strengthening our middle class and protecting families," said Senator Clinton. "President Obama and Democrats in Congress will need strong leaders from across the country as we work together to bring about the positive change American families need, especially right here in our home state of New York."
A tenacious and spirited leader, Alice Kryzan is used to blazing her own path: she became the first woman partner of a large firm in Buffalo and, if elected, she will be the first woman to represent New York's 26th district in Congress.
Alice Kryzan is the kind of Representative that New York needs in Washington and the kind of ally Senator Clinton wants on Capitol Hill. A proven fighter and longtime advocate for our community, she will put the families of the district before the needs of Washington DC.
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of Senator Clinton," said Alice Kryzan. "A real public servant and role model, Senator Clinton has always had the best interest of New Yorkers at heart. I look forward to working with her on the issues that matter most the voters of the 26th district: relief to middle class families, lowering tax burdens, creating jobs in New York, and comprehensive health care reform."
