Amherst, NY — In a clear sign that momentum is on Alice Kryzan's side just seven days before Election Day, the well-respected and nonpartisan Cook Political Report today announced that the race for Congress between Alice Kryzan and Chris Lee is now regarded as a "toss up," saying that; "In this political and economic climate, no district in Western New York can be considered safe for Republicans" (10/28/08).

This on the heels of the Buffalo News endorsement of Alice Kryzan, the campaign is clearly surging.  Yesterday Alice hit the pavement with Jon Powers and met with voters in Monroe, Livingston, Genesee and Erie Counties. Tomorrow, New York Senator Hillary Clinton will be in the district for a Get Out the Vote Rally with supporters and over the weekend Alice will be barnstorming the district one last time before Election Day.

"Everywhere I go whether it be in the outskirts of Buffalo and Rochester or the rural areas in Livingston County, one thing is clear: New Yorkers want change," said Alice Kryzan, Democratic candidate for Congress in New York's 26th congressional district.  "This campaign has always been about getting to Congress so we can bring good paying jobs back to Western New York, turn our economy around and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.  With just seven days until Election Day, New Yorkers are hearing my message loud and clear and momentum is on our side."
