EARTH DAY MESSAGE

Dear Friend,

Today is Earth Day, and I want to remind you how important this year’s election will be to our ability to seriously address the climate change crisis and jump start the Western New York economy at the same time.

After attending Earth Day events for Monroe County on transportation issues and Erie and Niagara Counties on clean water and air issues, as well as the Green Economy Summit, my conviction that we must move quickly to a clean, green economy has become even stronger. To do this we need two things: more elected officials with the experience, resolve and vision to get us there, and a strong showing of support from voters for candidates who want to move us in that direction.

So we’re launching a special GREEN for GREEN contribution club for my campaign. By contributing your dollars in this way, you will signal that climate change, renewable energy and green collar jobs are matters of vital importance to you.
